Website build time will vary based on what your needs are, but a standard five page website typically takes two to three weeks to complete.

All Kootenai Valley Digital websites are built from the ground up. If you already have a website, we’ll discuss your likes and dislikes with what you have and incorporate that into a new design. This ensures that Kootenai Valley Digital can provide you with the most efficient, reliable service moving forward.

Of course. You may be asked to transfer your domain to a new registrar so that Kootenai Valley Digital can better maintain your website, but you can use any domain you already own with your website. If you need to register any domain(s) in addition to having a website built, Kootenai Valley Digital will do so and manage it on your behalf for $20.00 per year. You always retain full ownership of your domain, and may transfer it at any time.

In order to maintain a reliable and stable environment for your website, Kootenai Valley Digital only provides service to clients using its hosting.

If you would like to stay with Kootenai Valley Digital after 12 months, your site will be put on a monthly Monitor and Maintenance Plan. For standard and premium sites, plans start at $50/month. For larger sites or those with added features (such as ecommerce functionality), monthly plan cost depends on the size and scope of the site.

If you would like to leave Kootenai Valley Digital after 12 months, your domain(s) will be made available for transfer and you will be provided with a zip file containing your website’s database and content. Your site will be removed from Kootenai Valley Digital’s server space 14 days after your final payment.

Websites built by Kootenai Valley Digital may not be hosted online by any other entity. All website design elements (coding, styling, formatting, and the combination thereof) are the property of Kootenai Valley Digital, while images, graphics, and written material on a website are the property of the client (unless otherwise specified). If you cancel your plan, or wish to move to another provider, your domain(s) will be made available for transfer and you will be provided with a zip file containing your website’s database and content. Your website will be removed from Kootenai Valley Digital’s server space 14 days after your final payment.

You may cancel your plan at any time. Once your cancellation request is processed, you will be billed for the remainder of your plan’s term and your domain(s) will made available for transfer. Upon receipt of funds for your bill’s remainder, Kootenai Valley Digital will provide you with a zip file containing your website’s database and content. Your website will be removed from Kootenai Valley Digital’s server space 14 days after your final payment.

Monthly plan payments are automatically processed by a secure online payment processor at the beginning of every month. Extra services or additional website work is billed seperately. Kootenai Valley Digital accepts payment from all major card providers, ACH bank transfers, Link, PayPal, and Venmo. Kootenai Valley Digital does not accept cash or checks.

Kootenai Valley Digital will notify you if a monthly payment fails to post or process.

Once you’ve been notified of a payment failure, if you’re unable to make that payment after 30 days, your site will be taken offline. If you’re on a 12 month plan, you will be subject to the non-payment terms specified in your sign-up agreement. If you’re on a monthly Monitor and Maintenance Plan, after 30 days of non-payment your service will be cancelled, your website will be removed from Kootenai Valley Digital’s server space, and you will be provided a zip file containing your website’s database and content.

If you wish to have your website reinstated after it is taken offline, you will be subject to a re-instatement fee.

Yes, if you prefer to pay your website’s build fee up-front, we will provide you with a quote for the work and process your payment prior to beginning the build. Once your website is online, you will pay month-to-month for a Monitor and Maintenance Plan.

Kootenai Valley Digital does not do provide graphic design such as logos or company branding, but is happy to put you in touch with someone that does professional, high-quality work.
