A standard five page website typically takes two to three weeks to complete, but build times vary based on the size and features of a website.

Once you complete payment for your site’s build fee, you will be automatically enrolled in a Maintenance and Monitoring plan. All Maintenance and Monitoring plans offer dedicated site maintenance, security monitoring, software updates, unlimited page updates, and technical support. Maintenance and Monitoring plans start at $50/month for standard website packages. For larger sites or those with special features, monthly plan cost depends on the size and scope of the site.

Absolutely! If you prefer to pay your website’s build fee up-front, you will be billed for the total build fee after approving your website’s cost. Once your payment is processed, the site build will begin.

Kootenai Valley Digital accepts payment from all major card providers, ACH bank transfers, Link, PayPal, and Venmo. Kootenai Valley Digital does not accept cash or checks. Monthly plan payments are automatically processed by a secure online payment processor at the beginning of every month. Extra services or additional website work is billed seperately.

All Kootenai Valley Digital websites are built from the ground up to ensure you receive the most efficient, reliable service. If you already have a website, we’ll discuss your likes and dislikes with what already exists and incorporate that into a new design.

Of course! You may be asked to transfer your domain to a new registrar so that Kootenai Valley Digital can better maintain your website, but you can use any domain you already own with your website. If you need to register any domain(s) in addition to having a website built, Kootenai Valley Digital will do so and manage it on your behalf for an additional $20.00 per year per domain. You always retain full ownership of your domain, and may transfer it at any time.

No. In order to provide a reliable and stable environment for your website, all websites developed by Kootenai Valley Digital must be hosted on its its server space.

You may not move a Kootenai Valley Digital website design to another provider.

In order to provide consistent high-quality service, Kootenai Valley Digital utilizes a design framework with non-transferrable software licenses. This means that no design elements of your website may be transferred to a host or service outside of Kootenai Valley Digital. However, you retain full ownership of your website’s content (words, images, and graphics) at all times, and a copy of your site’s content sans Kootenai Valley Digital’s design elements will be provided to you in the event that you wish to cancel your service with Kootenai Valley Digital.

If you cancel your service with Kootenai Valley Digital, or wish to move to another provider, your domain(s) will be made available for transfer and you will be provided with a zip file containing your website’s content. Your website will be removed from Kootenai Valley Digital’s server space 14 days after your final payment.

If you are enrolled in a Maintenance and Monitoring plan, you may cancel at any time and you will receive no further charges from Kootenai Valley Digital after your cancellation request is processed (typically 24-48 hours). Once your cancellation is processed, your domain(s) will be made available for transfer and you will be provided with a zip file containing your website’s content. Your website will be removed from Kootenai Valley Digital’s server space 14 days after cancellation.

If you have enrolled in a 12 month payment plan and cancel your service prior to the end of the 12 month period, you will be billed for the remainder of your plan’s term and your website will be immediately removed from Kootenai Valley Digital’s server space. Your domain(s) will be made available for transfer and you will be provided with a zip file containing your website’s content.
